Great Alaska Adventures is taking bookings for the 2017 and 2018 seasons.

At the heart of the Great Alaska Adventure experiences is the Great Alaska Bear Camp consisting of multi-day safaris at a remote outpost at the entrance of Lake Clark National Park and Preserve.

The location is the gateway to millions of acres of wilderness accessible only by bush plane or boat, and where visitors can view some of the 70 brown bears that live at Chinitna Bay.

From June 1 to Sept. 1, guests in small groups take a 45-minute plane ride from Soldotna to bear camp for either one night or two night stays.
