The Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club, part of Marriott International's Autograph Collection Hotels, has opened at the corner of 39th Street and Collins Avenue in Miami Beach. The hotel is the fourth Miami hotel in the Autograph Collection. Rates start at $165 per night, and a $30 per night resort fee includes two beach chairs, bike rental, yoga and beach games.
The building, one of the area's iconic art deco facades, has undergone a full renovation and now contains oceanfront and cityview rooms, including 20 suites. The hotel's interior was inspired by 1940s Italian and French Riviera architecture, while maintaining the art deco aesthetic. Guestrooms are decorated in gold and grey-blue accents. The signature Cadillac Suite features a 1,100-square-foot terrace, outdoor dining area and sunbeds as well as a 65-inch television and home theater sound system.
"With an abundance of history, beginning with architect Roy France's original art deco design in 1940, Cadillac offers modern Miami flair with European-inspired sensibilities while maintaining its authentic and genuine personality established decades ago," general manager Karan Karar said in a statement.
The hotel features two signature dining experiences. Donna Mare Trattoria offers light, locally sourced, traditional Italian fare, including wood-fired pizzas and grilled fish and meats. Bungalow by the Sea is located right off the main pool area, and offers craft cocktails, a raw bar and light fare such as grilled seafood and salads. The Lobby Bar focuses on cocktails inspired by the ocean and serves light bites and flights of rose wine. A signature shaved ice cart serves complimentary treats daily at the two pools, one for adults and one for families.
