Tour company Alaskabike is offering a seven-day tour geared toward the adventure tourist looking for a great way to experience Alaska.
The tour company's seven-day All-Alaska Tour is its most challenging, averaging 70 miles of biking a day. The tour route has views of Denali, visits Fairbanks and is highlighted by a 300-mile bicycle ride down the scenic Richardson Highway.
The highway runs from the center of the state to the coast in almost a straight line. This provides cyclists the opportunity to experience the different climate zones, mountains and river basins of Alaska's Interior and Southcentral regions. Cyclists return to Anchorage via a cruise across Prince William Sound.
