Latest attraction to land at Area15

A salvaged Boeing 747 aircraft repurposed as an event space will be one of the attractions of a 20-acre expansion of the Area15 immersive art and entertainment district in Las Vegas.

Universal Parks & Resorts will anchor the expansion with a year-round horror entertainment experience inspired by its Halloween Horror Nights.

Area15, which opened in 2020, already includes Meow Wolf's Omega MartIlluminarium and the Lost Spirits Distillery. The timeline for the expansion, which will include other attractions, retail and food and beverage options, was not announced.

"Area15 curates a constellation of world-class experiences, and our partnership with an internationally renowned entertainment company such as Universal marks a significant milestone in our evolution," said Winston Fisher, Area15's CEO.
