Trisept Solutions has redesigned its booking engine, VAX
VacationAccess, with a new look and feel, and has added an editorial component
for agents with content to help grow their businesses.
The redesigned website now has a wider screen display and a
simplified navigation bar. Agents can also get personalized content suggestions.
The editorial portion, called the Compass, will be updated
with content daily, according to Trisept. It will feature editorials and
information, on topics ranging from issues facing the industry to updates from
leisure travel brands.
"This redesign solidifies our position that VAX is more
than a booking engine site for travel agents," Trisept president John
Ische said in a statement. "Agents now turn to VAX as the travel
marketplace, a place where agents can earn, learn and grow, all while staying up
to date on the latest travel industry trends."
Trisept said the VAX redesign is part of its $20 million
investment in research and development. Future enhancements could include
vacation rentals, guided tours and cruise content.
