Gail Grimmett will leave Travel Leaders Group next month and
three veterans -- Becky Powell, Cindy Schlansky and Monty Swaney -- will step
up to lead the company's Protravel International and Tzell Travel Group
agencies.
Grimmett joined Travel Leaders as president of luxury brands
in 2016 after a long career with Delta Air Lines.
"Gail further developed a highly seasoned team of
executives at each of our luxury brands who will continue our focus on leading
the industry in the luxury sector," Travel Leaders Group CEO Ninan Chacko
said in a statement. "We are grateful to Gail for her work in integrating
our luxury acquisitions, expanding our U.K. presence and strengthening a great
executive team of outstanding professionals."
Powell will lead Protravel International as its president. She
joined Travel Leaders as senior vice president of Andrew Harper Travel, which
Travel Leaders acquired in early 2017. She was named general manager and COO of
Protravel in January 2018.
Schlansky and Swaney will serve as co-presidents of Tzell
Travel Group. Schlansky has held various leadership roles at Tzell since 2000,
including branch acquisitions, projects, process and change management. Swaney
joined the company in 2009, and handles relationship management, leads support
of independent contractors, oversees sales efforts and coordinates Tzell's U.K.
operations.
Travel Leaders said Powell, Schlansky and Swaney will have
additional responsibilities for the strategic direction of Protravel and Tzell,
working in conjunction with Chacko.
