Brownell Travel of Birmingham, Ala., has created an online
guide to its top hotels, the Little Brownell Book, available on its website.
The guide features nearly 50 hotels with more to come later this
year. According to Brownell, the hotels featured were chosen because they "have
exceptional service, desirable locations, and will go above and beyond for
Brownell guests."
Haisley Smith, vice president of marketing and development,
said the book was developed using a "decade's worth of information"
from agents and Brownell clients alike.
Each hotel's page features what sets it apart, don't-miss
features and Brownell amenities.
"We are really pleased to be able to offer something
different to consumers," Smith said. "These hotels may not be the
most exclusive, the newest or the most buzzed about, but they are absolutely
the best."
The hotels in the Little Brownell Book are ones Brownell has
worked with for years and have demonstrated top service, Smith said.
"It's a special collection because of the deep
relationships -- it's not uncommon for us to ring up a favorite bellman,
concierge or the GM to give them a heads-up about Brownell clients arriving,"
she said.
