Hill has been with the LVCVA since January, when he was appointed chief operating officer.

Gov. Brian Sandoval, who appointed Hill to that position,
said Hill "helped make Nevada an attractive place to build businesses,
bringing some of the world's most innovative companies to the Silver State."
Hill played a key role in bringing Tesla, Apple, Solar City, Barclaycard, Amazon,
and Hyperloop One to Nevada.
Sandoval went on to appoint Hill as chairman of the Southern
Nevada Tourism Infrastructure Committee, which was charged with reviewing and
recommending major economic development projects to the governor and legislature
for approval.
The committee recommended approval of the Las Vegas
Convention Center expansion and construction of the Las Vegas Stadium for the
National Football League's Raiders franchise. The stadium is expected to open
in 2020.
Hill was appointed chairman of the Las Vegas Stadium Authority, a body responsible for ownership and oversight of the stadium project.
