Routehappy, OpenJaw combine platforms

Routehappy and Dublin-based OpenJaw are integrating their airline merchandising platforms, a move the companies said should spur airlines' adoption of the International Air Transport Association's New Distribution Capability (NDC) standards.

Coming "at the request of mutual airline customers," the single platform will be available this year, they announced.

The merged platform will combine Routehappy Hub's rich content like descriptive text, photos, videos and virtual tours with OpenJaw's NDC-standard platform. Airline customers of one platform will be able to incorporate features of the other.

OpenJaw airline customers include British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Iberia and Hainan Airlines. Cathay also works with Routehappy, as do Air Canada, Delta and United.
