Paul English co-founded Kayak in 2004.
English founded Lola in 2015 and co-founded travel
metasearch company Kayak in 2004. He said the move to relinquish the CEO
position was a business decision.
"I'm a CTO at heart and love building product,"
English said in a statement. "At my other companies, I've always had a
strong partner on the business side, and I think it's time to do that at Lola."
Volpe comes to Lola from Cybereason, where he was chief
marketing officer. Before that, he was one of the first employees of Hubspot,
eventually becoming its chief marketing officer.
