ARC has named Scott Gillespie its head of analytics.
Gillespie will lead the corporation's new product
development and data science teams to grow its data-related products and
services.

"Scott's thought leadership, unique experience and
blue-chip reputation are going to be valuable assets to ARC," ARC
executive vice president and COO Lauri Reishus said in a statement. "Besides
ramping up our data-related offerings, he'll play an essential part in our
company-wide transformation."
Gillespie is the author of the blog Gillespie's Guide to
Travel and Procurement.
He is also the CEO of tClara, a position he will retain. ARC's partnership with
tClara, a provider of benchmarking services, will also continue. Gillespie will
still provide speaking and training services to the corporate travel industry.
Before tClara, Gillespie founded Travel Analytics in 1999.
The company was acquired by TRX, now a part of SAP. He started his career as
management consultancy A.T. Kearney's expert on travel sourcing.
