Royal Caribbean International has teamed up with the Travel
Institute to offer agents scholarships for the Certified Travel Associate (CTA)
certification program.
Agents who have completed their master's degree from Royal
Caribbean University are eligible to win a scholarship to participate in the
CTA program.
Royal Caribbean has committed $7,500 toward scholarships,
which the Travel Institute said will cover more than half of the cost of the
CTA program for 40 agents.
To apply for a scholarship, agents who have completed their
master's degree from Royal Caribbean University should register for the CTA
program on the Travel Institute's website.
Royal Caribbean University, launched one year ago, has three
tracks: the Campus Tour, Bachelor of Adventure and Master of Adventure.
"Brand-specific training coupled with job-readiness
certification through the Travel Institute is a winning formula for success,"
said Guida Botelho, training director at the Travel Institute.
