ABOARD THE HARMONY OF THE SEAS -- The financial solutions
portion of MyNexion, a business operating solution designed for Nexion Travel
Group members, will be available by the end of the year, the group announced
during its 2018 CoNexion conference here.
With the move, Nexion will have all technology products available in one
system, said Robbi Hamida, senior vice president of agency operations.
Kevin Kimes, vice president of leisure travel product
management for Travel Leaders Group (Nexion's parent company), said there are a
number of tools that were integrated into a single system, ranging from
marketing, training, education and booking management. It will help members as
well as Nexion staff members find new efficiencies in their workflows.
Nexion president Jackie Friedman said MyNexion also offers
agents some tools they didn't previously have, like customer relationship
management capabilities.
"Now, having that one constant, consistent database is
a great benefit," she said.
Nexion members will
also benefit from the host agency's relationship with parent company Travel
Leaders Group through several initiatives announced at CoNexion.
Members will now have access to a new business-to-consumer
website solution via TLG's Leaders Edge. The websites integrate Agent Profiler,
TLG's online lead-generation and profile tool, as well as the ability to
customize the websites down to the agent level.
Nexion also introduced Escape Insider, a monthly publication
based off of TLG's Escape, a quarterly publication that focuses on different
themes (like experiential travel or holiday travel).
Starting next year, members' clients will get the monthly
Escape Insider. It is a print and digital campaign that Cris De Souza, vice
president of sales and marketing, described as "tactical," capturing
clients toward the middle or bottom of the funnel and giving them incentive to
travel more (the quarterly Escape publication, she said, is more "strategic,"
capturing consumers at the top of the funnel and getting them excited about
travel).
Emails that are part of Escape Insider can be quickly turned
around to include supplier deals, De Souza said, and are customized to the
agent level.
In addition to a number of regional conferences and
specialty events (like forums based on corporate travel and luxury travel),
Nexion will also bring back its Master Marketing Symposium next year. Friedman
said it includes a number of topics, like public relations and digital
marketing, enabling participants to walk away with a completed marketing plan
at the end of the event.
