The 168-room property sits in a complex on Ocean Boulevard overlooking the Kingston harbor that will include retail, on-site entertainment and commercial offices spaces.
Guests will have access to the National Gallery of Jamaica and the Port Royal landmark.
The 12-story building originally opened in 1977 as the Oceana Hotel.
Facilities will include a first floor pool deck, fitness center, lounge, restaurant, cafe and bar.
"Following a year of impressive growth since the brand's launch, including the signing of our first two properties in Peru, we are energized by our expansion in the Caribbean," said Jenna Hackett, global head of the Tapestry Collection.
