AccorHotels opened its flagship Novotel in London's Canary Wharf district April 23.

The 313-room property, which represents a $116 million investment from AccorHotels, is one of the tallest buildings in the area and offers 360-degree views of such London sights as the Shard, the Olympic Park and Greenwich Park.

Amenities include the Bokan 37 restaurant, Bokan 38 bar and Bokan 39 roof terrace on the top floors and the Canary Coffee shop on the ground floor.

Other features include 26 individually designed suites, nine meetings rooms, a state-of-the-art gym, a swimming pool and a sauna as well as free WiFi throughout.

The hotel will be the first of the group's U.K. portfolio to contain a vegetable garden, in line with AccorHotels' Planet21  plan to support urban agriculture.

The property has also been designed sustainably to reduce CO2 emissions and features an apiary that will produce honey for guests, robust recycling systems and local and ecofriendly food products.
