The newly branded Eating Europe, which formerly went by different names depending on the city, debuted a Paris program. Called Paris: Hip Eats & Backstreets, the four-hour dine-around tour is priced at about $108 per person.
A guide takes participants to various eateries in the city, where they can sample local specialties -- like croque monsieurs (a grilled, open-face cheese and ham sandwich that is a classic in French brasseries), Moroccan couscous and artisanal pastries -- as well as learn about cheese-making in a 17th century cellar and try charcuterie from France's Savoie region.
Along the way, the group will interact with chefs and entrepreneurs in the Paris food scene and finish up in the Marais, one of the city's hippest and most appealing neighborhoods.
