The Bikini Island & Mountain Hotel Port de Soller will open this June in the Mallorcan village of Port de Soller, Spain. The adults-only Design Hotels property, which will feature 114 rooms and suites overlooking the Tramuntana Mountains, was designed by Armin Fischer of Dreimeta, a company based in Augsburg, Germany.
Accommodations include terraces or balconies, and the hotel features a beach and promenade, a pentagonal pool, gardens with topiaries and several eateries, including Neni, for Middle Eastern tapas; Lynxx bar and lobby lounge, and Pikkini pool bar overlooking the Mediterranean.
The decor was influenced by the gypset style, a modern homage to the California hippie movement of the 1960s, with natural and organic materials and an earthy palate.
