Caesars Entertainment's first non-gaming resort will open
later this year as part of the Bluewaters Island development off the coast of
Dubai.
Caesars will manage two hotels -- Caesars Bluewaters Dubai
and Caesars Palace Bluewaters Dubai -- totaling 479 rooms. The Las Vegas-based
company will also oversee a beach club.
The resort will have indoor and outdoor pools as well as a
dozen bars and restaurants, some of them headed by celebrity chefs. The
property will also have convention space as well as a spa with wellness center.
Bluewaters is slated to have about 200 restaurants and
shops.
The island, connected to Dubai via roadway and pedestrian
bridge, will feature the Ain Dubai, a 689-foot observation wheel.
