Long-haul, ultralow-cost carrier Primera Air will begin flying to the U.S from Madrid, Frankfurt and Berlin next summer.

Flights will operate daily from Frankfurt and Berlin to New York and from Madrid to Newark. Flights from each of the three European cities to Boston will operate three or four times per week.

Primera will begin the six routes between June 16 and Aug. 16 using Boeing 737 Max 9 aircraft with economy and premium economy cabins.

Denmark-based Primera began U.S. service this spring and currently flies from Boston and Newark to London Stansted and Paris Charles de Gaulle, as well from Washington Dulles to Stansted.

Primera will fly from Newark, Boston and Washington to Brussels beginning next spring.
