Delta will add Chicago O'Hare, Newark, Washington Reagan and Cleveland to its Boston route network next year as it focuses on New England business travelers. 

With the new routes, Delta will serve 58 cities and offer up to 152 daily departures from its Boston hub, where the airline competes fiercely with American and the market's biggest player, JetBlue.  

Delta will begin flying Boston-Cleveland three times daily on April 1, competing on the route against thrice-daily JetBlue and United service and daily Spirit service, according to the website FlightConnections. 

The carrier will launch the O'Hare, Newark and Washington Reagan routes during the second week of September 2019. Delta's s Boston-O'Hare service (five times daily) will compete against American (six daily), United (six daily), JetBlue (five daily) and Spirit (one daily).

Delta will fly four times per day between Boston and Newark, competing with United (nine daily) and JetBlue (five daily). 

Delta will fly six times daily to Reagan National from Boston, competing against American (16 daily) and JetBlue (nine daily).
