The Delta-Korean Air joint venture will begin flying five days per week between Seoul and Boston on April 12. Tickets will go on sale later this summer.

The carriers also have set a launch of April 1 for the daily Minneapolis-Seoul route that they announced in June. Bookings for the flight are now open.

The partnership will deploy Korean Air Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft for Seoul-Boston. The aircraft will be configured with six first-class suites, 18 Prestige business-class suites and 245 economy seats.

Delta and Korean will operate Minneapolis-Seoul with three-class Delta Boeing 777-200ER aircraft, featuring 28 Delta One business-class suites, 48 premium economy seats and 220 economy seats.

The Delta-Korean Air joint venture will be the lone operator on both routes.

The routes will be the first introduced by the airlines since winning approval to upgrade their antitrust immune joint venture this spring.
