The Airbus board of directors has chosen Guillaume Faury,
the company's current president of the commercial aircraft division, to succeed
retiring CEO Tom Enders. The selection was unanimous.

Faury, 50, will take over the post on April 10, when the
Airbus board holds its annual general meeting.
Faury has worked for Airbus since 2013, first as CEO of
Airbus Helicopters, and then beginning early this year as head of the
commercial aircraft unit.
Enders announced his plan to retire last December.
