Beginning Monday, American Airlines will offer lie-flat
seats on four of its five flights per day between Boston and Los Angeles.
AA will use its three-class Airbus A321s, which are
configured with American's Flagship First and Flagship Business cabins. Both
the business and first-class seats lie flat.
First and business passengers flying to Boston from Los
Angeles will also have access to American's Flagship Lounge at LAX.
Boston-Los Angeles will join New York-Los Angeles and New
York-San Francisco as domestic routes on which American offers lie-flat seats
on a fixed schedule.
AA sometimes flies other routes using three-class
aircraft, including Dallas-Miami, Los Angeles-Miami, Dallas-Chicago and
Dallas-San Francisco.
