Amadeus River Cruises will add a 16th ship to its European fleet in 2020. The Amadeus Imperial will cruise the Danube, Rhine and Main rivers plus Dutch and Belgian waterways.

The Amadeus Imperial will follow the lines' Silver series of ships, which includes the Amadeus Silver, Amadeus Silver II, Amadeus Silver III and the Amadeus Provence. A fifth, the Amadeus Star, will be christened April 3.

The Imperial will have 72 deluxe cabins at 188 square feet and 12 284-square-foot suites. The suites will have balconies while the cabins on the on the Mozart and Strauss decks will feature lowerable panoramic windows along the entire cabin width.

The Imperial's maiden voyage will sail in early April 2020 along the waterways of Holland and Belgium. For the rest of the season, it will operate between Amsterdam and Basel to the Black Sea and the Danube Delta.
