With the opening of the Four Points by Sheraton Juneau earlier this month, Marriott International brings one of its fastest-growing brands to Alaska.

The property has 106 rooms and more than 200 square feet of meetings space. Amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, business center and complimentary WiFi throughout the hotel.

"We're particularly excited about the standards of service it will bring to Juneau," said Bal Gosal, managing partner of YC Rivergold Hotel, the developer of Four Points Juneau. "We expect the opening of a Four Points will bring a sense of comfort to those traveling from afar."

The hotel also offers full-service dining at McGivney's Downtown Sports Bar and Grill, and the brand's Best Brews and BBQ featuring local beers and appetizers.

It is just a quick drive from downtown Juneau and conveniently close to the Centennial Hall Convention Center, Seadrome Marina, Alaska State Capitol and government offices.

"Travel Juneau is thrilled to have the new Four Points Juneau as a partner. This completely refreshed property will provide independent travelers a branded option for downtown waterfront lodging, and will enhance Travel Juneau's efforts to secure meetings and conventions," said Liz Perry, Travel Juneau's president and CEO.

According to Marriott International, there are now more than 225 Four Points hotels in early 40 countries and territories.

"The demand for reliable and comfortable hotel options is greater than ever and Four Points meets this demand like no other," said Callette Nielsen, vice president and global brand manager for Courtyard, Fairfield, Four Points and SpringHill Suites. "We are excited to offer that to our customers traveling to Alaska's dynamic capital."

In the next five years, Four Points expects to globally expand its portfolio of rooms by nearly 60%.  More information is available at  www.fourpointsjuneau.com.
