African Travel has announced it is celebrating the launch of its 2019 brochure by giving travel agents the chance to win a safari vacation for two to South Africa. The eight-night journey includes three nights at the Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa in Cape Town, three nights at the private Lion Sands Game Reserve near Kruger National Park and two nights at the iconic Oyster Box Hotel in Durban.
There are three ways to enter the Live the Dream contest: For every new booking (valued at $6,000 or more per person) made through the end of 2018 for travel in 2019, agents will earn one entry; those who complete African Travel University will earn one entry; and agents who post to an African Travel social media account (Twitter, Facebook or Instagram) outlining where in Africa they'd love to visit and include the #LiveTheATIDream hashtag will earn one entry. All entries will be entered into the drawing, and a winner will be selected on Jan. 5.
As an additional incentive, agents can also earn 50 "dream dollars" per booking if they book a 2019 African Travel brochure itinerary or FIT itinerary (valued at $6,000 or more per person) through year's end. Dream dollars can be used toward an African Travel educational trip in 2019, or for a personal safari vacation. (Dream dollars are earned in addition to commission.)
