Though winter hasn't even begun, Los Cabos is looking toward spring with the anticipated opening of the Nobu Hotel Los Cabos.
The 200-room property, a joint venture between Chef Nobu Matsuhisa and Robert De Niro, will be 103 suites and 97 standard rooms, all of which will have bathtubs/soaking tubs and walk-in showers, Nespresso machines and a traditional Japanese tea set, 65-inch TVs and private balconies; some rooms will offer butler service.
Nobu Restaurant will be what devotees to Matsuhisa's other ventures have come to love: a Japanese-fusion cuisine, with world-renowned sushi and innovative cocktails. A 10-seat Teppan Room will be available for private events.
Dining options will also include a lobby bar, and the Malibu Farm, a farm-to-table concept founded by Swedish chef Helene Henderson. Malibu Farm will have a new home at Nobu Hotel with healthy selections and sustainable fare.
Four pools will be located on the property, including infinity pools, private swim-up cabanas, private beach cabanas, and four super cabanas with a full bathroom, daybed, living area and TV.
The 13,691-square-foot spa will feature nine treatment rooms, a salon, hydrotherapy areas, an outdoor hydrotherapy garden, experiential showers, Jacuzzi, steam, sauna and Watsu treatment pool. A ,723-square-foot Fitness Center will also be part of the wellness offerings.
