Truong will take the lead in identifying and maximizing revenue opportunities for the luxury Honolulu resort, the first Ritz-Carlton on Oahu, working on long- and short-term revenue management strategies and increasing market share.

"I am excited to welcome Farrah, whose skill set and in-depth market knowledge are ideally suited to provide strategic leadership to our team," Douglas Chang, general manager, said in a statement. "Her breadth of experience and valued insight will help drive revenue results as we prepare for the October debut of our Diamond Head Tower."

Truong, born and raised in Honolulu, brings nearly 10 years of revenue management experience in Hawaii to the resort, most recently working for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Hawaii, where she started her career as a management trainee and worked her way up to the position of director of revenue management at Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa.

The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach opened in 2016 with the debut of the 304-unit Ewa Tower, which includes an infinity pool, the Ritz-Carlton Spa and three restaurants. The completion of the resort's Diamond Head Tower is scheduled for October, adding 245 additional residences, a second infinity pool, a children's facility and meetings space to the property.
