The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort has introduced The Bar at Azure to its food and beverage roster.
The beachfront restaurant Azure now features a newly renovated bar with an expanded seating area and revamped cocktail menu drawing influence from the hotel's storied history dating to 1927.
Bar at Azure will offer craft cocktails and private-label spirits, including locally produced Ko Hana Rum, and is under the direction of Royal Hawaiian's director of restaurants and bar Micah Suderman.
Additionally, Azure Restaurant recently welcomed Shingo Katsura as chef de cuisine. Katsura was most recently at Roots and Rye in San Jose, Calif., as executive chef, and began his culinary career at Madera, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Menlo Park, Calif.
