The fourth installment of the Great Waikiki Beer Festival is set for Aug. 18 at the beachfront along Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon by the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort.

The annual festival features more than 100 seasonal, local and craft beers, with a wide selection of brews from the Aloha State as well as the U.S. mainland. Breweries in attendance include Aloha Beer Co. (Honolulu), Elysian Brewing Company (Seattle), Firestone Walker Brewing (Paso Robles), Golden Road Brewing (Los Angeles), Goose Island Beer Company (Chicago), Honolulu Beerworks, and Maui Brewing Co.

Bartenders from Hilton will also be mixing up specialty cocktails in addition to pouring sake and wine, and bar bites such as coconut shrimp, Gochujang chicken wings and soft salted pretzels will also be available. Entertainment includes a rotating set of DJs and local musicians, including soul and R&B artist Ilona Irvine and '90s pop group Forte.

A portion of the proceeds from the Great Waikiki Beer Festival will benefit the Wounded Warrior Ohana, a local nonprofit dedicated to caring for injured U.S. military service members.

The 21-and-older event runs from 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday Aug. 18., but early admission at 4 p.m is available with a special ticket. General admission costs $75, $60 with valid military identification, and includes 10 four-ounce beer tastings. Early entry tickets are $100, $85 for military, and include 10 four-ounce beer tastings, one food ticket and self-parking for one car.
