Introduction and History

Well before the Seven Seas Explorer launched in July 2016, it was being called "The Most Luxurious Ship Ever Built." The ship carries 750 guests and is the fourth vessel in Regent's fleet.

The 54,000-ton ship was built at Fincantieri's shipyard in Genoa, Italy. The luxury line last had a new ship in 2003, when the Seven Seas Voyager entered service.
