Introduction and History

Nieuw Statendam, at 99,500-tons, carries 2,666 passengers and 1,025 crew and is HAL'S second Pinnacle-Class ship. Koningsdam was first in 2016; the third, Ryndam, comes mid-2021. The first Statendam sailed in 1898, and this is the sixth. She was christened by godmother Oprah Winfrey in 2019.
