A 92,700-ton ship from Fincantieri (Italy) that takes 2,820 passengers and 1,050 international crew members (Italian officers), Costa Luminosa entered service in 2009.

Costa Luminosa is the sister ship to Costa Deliziosa. The twin ships are smaller and more flexible than others in the Costa Cruise Lines fleet, which makes them able to fit in smaller canals and expands itinerary possibilities.
