Royal Caribbean launches The Key perks package

Royal Caribbean launches The Key perks package

Royal Caribbean International has begun rolling out a package of amenities it calls The Key.

Among the perks included are priority embarkation and debarkation; an embarkation lunch at the Chops steak restaurant; reservations for top seating at show venues; and private hours for activities such as the rock climbing wall and FlowRider surf simulator.

Also included is a service that delivers carry-on bags directly to staterooms. Up to two bags can be left in the main theater for later delivery.

The package also comes with a Surf & Stream internet package for one device and priority embarkation for shore excursions.

The charge for The Key has been set for a trial period at $14.99 to $24.99, per person, per day, depending on the ship. If one guest in a cabin buys The Key, every guest (age 6 and over) in the same cabin must also buy it.
