Seabourn will become the third Carnival Corp. brand sailing
to Cuba.
The luxury line said it got permission from Cuban
authorities to sail to Havana from Miami and San Juan, starting with a 12-day
cruise aboard Seabourn Sojourn departing Miami on Nov. 4, 2019.
It will offer five departures, with 11-, 12-, and 14-day
sailings visiting a total of five ports in Cuba. Each cruise will call at three
or four of the ports. All will include an overnight in Havana, with select
stops at Cienfuegos, Santiago de Cuba, Antilla (Nipe Bay) and at Punta Frances,
on Isla de Juventud.
While off the ship, guests may join UNESCO Partner Tours
exploring Cuba's World Heritage cities, including Santa Clara and Trinidad, or
the Biosphere Reserve at Las Terrazas.
There will be "Caviar in the Surf" beach barbecues
in Isla Catalina and Carambola Beach.
In addition to the Nov. 4 departure roundtrip from Miami,
the 458-passenger Sojourn will make other Cuba sailings departing Miami or San
Juan on Nov. 16 and 28, and Dec. 10 and 21.
Of Carnival Corp.'s other brands, Carnival Cruise Line and
Holland America Line currently visit Cuba.
