Regent Seven Seas Cruises announced the initial summer
season of cruises for the Seven Seas Splendor, a ship scheduled for delivery in
2020.
The first summer cruise departs May 12, 2020, from Venice
and arrives in Rome (Civitavecchia) nine days later. The cruise includes a May 18 stop in
Cannes, France, during the famous international film festival. The next
departure, a 17-day cruise from Rome to Barcelona, features a stop in Monaco
during the Grand Prix auto race.
In all, the season includes 15 voyages. The last one departs
Barcelona for Miami on Nov. 13, 2020.
The mostly Mediterranean itineraries include overnight port
stays in Venice, Jerusalem (Haifa), Lisbon, Bordeaux, Monte Carlo, Istanbul,
Florence/Pisa/Tuscany (Livorno), Barcelona and in the Royal Naval Dockyard
(Bermuda).
The inaugural voyage for the 750-passenger Splendor is
scheduled for Feb. 7, 2020, a 14-night transatlantic cruise from Barcelona to
Miami.
