Regent Seven Seas Cruises announced the initial summer season of cruises for the Seven Seas Splendor, a ship scheduled for delivery in 2020.

The first summer cruise departs May 12, 2020, from Venice and arrives in Rome (Civitavecchia) nine days later. The cruise includes a May 18 stop in Cannes, France, during the famous international film festival. The next departure, a 17-day cruise from Rome to Barcelona, features a stop in Monaco during the Grand Prix auto race.

In all, the season includes 15 voyages. The last one departs Barcelona for Miami on Nov. 13, 2020.

The mostly Mediterranean itineraries include overnight port stays in Venice, Jerusalem (Haifa), Lisbon, Bordeaux, Monte Carlo, Istanbul, Florence/Pisa/Tuscany (Livorno), Barcelona and in the Royal Naval Dockyard (Bermuda).

The inaugural voyage for the 750-passenger Splendor is scheduled for Feb. 7, 2020, a 14-night transatlantic cruise from Barcelona to Miami.
