The first voyage of the Crystal Endeavor, Crystal Cruises' luxury expedition yacht, will be a 17-day exploration of the Russian Far East. The roundtrip cruise departs Tokyo on Aug. 10, 2020.

The voyage is one of the cruises announced for the ship's first season.

Construction of the 200-passenger yacht is about to start. Crystal said the Endeavor's inaugural season will open for sale on Aug. 8 for Crystal Society members and Aug. 22 to everyone else.

After the Russia voyage, the Crystal Endeavor will make two more Tokyo-based sailings of 17 and 16 days before slowly making its way south in Asia to the Philippines, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand. A 15-day holiday voyage leaves Christchurch, New Zealand, on Dec. 22 bound for Tasmania.

In early 2021, the Crystal Endeavor will sail two Antarctic voyages of 22 days each. In all, the ship will sail a dozen unique sailings of 12 to 22 days in its first seven months of operation.
