Carnival Cruise Line said it has overhauled the agent finder tool on its website to make it more functional.
In the first phase of the redesign, which is complete, the look and feel of the page was updated to better match the cruise line's main site. Google Maps was also incorporated into the page to better pinpoint agency location.
Searches, typically by ZIP Code, also yield more agency "hits," providing a wider group for consumers to evaluate.
Results provide more individual agency information, including phone number, email address and a website link, when available.
The second phase of the redesign, expected to be complete in spring 2019, will provide home-based agency owners the ability to add their information to the system. Consumers will then be able to see home-based agency locations displayed on Google Maps if the agency opts in to the program.
