Carnival Cruise Line has started a new agent rewards
program with a grand prize worth $1,000 in gift cards.
Under the "Loyalty Rocks" program, bookings from
June 19 through July 18 will be eligible for extra loyalty points in Carnival's
cumulative system.
Each booking that has earned reward points will be entered
into a daily drawing for 1,000 rewards points (a $50 value in gift cards). At
the end of the challenge on July 18, all bookings that have earned rewards
points during the month will be eligible to win a grand prize of 20,000 rewards
points (a $1,000 value in gift cards).
Agents get between five and 50 base points per booking. All
staterooms in a group are now eligible to receive points, and agents earn more
points for higher stateroom categories and longer cruises. Travel agents can
now also earn bonus points for eligible bookings.
The new rewards program goes beyond gift cards, giving
agents the opportunity to also redeem points for jewelry, electronics, movies,
gift baskets and more. Items will rotate regularly.
In its previous loyalty program that concluded in March,
Carnival distributed more than $1 million in gift cards to agents.
