After a year in which it will have no ships in Europe,
Carnival Cruise Line will send the Carnival Legend there for the summer
of 2020.
The season will begin with a 16-day Northern transatlantic
crossing from New York to London (Dover) from June 3 to 19, featuring day-long
visits to Qaqortoq, Greenland; Reykjavik, Iceland; Lerwick, Shetland Islands;
Belfast, Northern Ireland; and Cork, Ireland.
The season will conclude with another 16-day transatlantic
crossing from Barcelona to Tampa from Oct. 30 to Nov. 15, highlighted by visits
to Malaga, Spain; Funchal, Madeira; Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands; Antigua;
San Juan; and Amber Cove, Dominican Republic.
In between, the Carnival Legend will sail a nine-day
Norwegian fjords cruise, a nine-day Western Europe cruise and several nine- to
12-day Mediterranean cruises.
