The Norwegian Encore will display a splash of primary colors
and abstract shapes on its hull, according to a rendering released by Norwegian
Cruise Line.
The ship's hull will be painted by Spanish artist Eduardo
Arranz-Bravo prior to its delivery in 2019.
The fourth and last in Norwegian's Breakaway Plus class, the
Encore is designed to carry 4,000 guests. Following an unveiling, it will
cruise out of Miami every Sunday and sail seven-day voyages to the Eastern
Caribbean, beginning Nov. 17, 2019.
Arranz-Bravo was one of three artists showcased at the
Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992, Norwegian said. Norwegian Cruise Line
Holdings CEO Frank Del Rio said the hull's bright design will complement the
ship's colorful destinations in the Caribbean.
