Hospitality group SBE has assembled an A-list line up of chefs that have been working in collaboration with Rolling Stone magazine for culinary celebrations that include custom tastings, interactive demonstrations and lavish dinners.
The final Grand Weekend takes place on the beaches of SLS Baha Mar resort in the Bahamas Nov. 15 to 18.
The ticketed event for that Friday night provides access to a Grand Dinner White Party, held on the private Bata Mar Pier, capped off with an afterparty at Bond Nightclub. Saturday will see tasting events at Bungalow Pool with chefs Dario Cecchini, Michael Schwartz and Danny Elmaleh. The whole weekend caps off with a farewell brunch at Cleo Mediterraneo on Sunday.
Tickets are available ranging from $55 to $500, as well as all-access packages. A percentage of proceeds will benefit the local Make-A-Wish Chapters and will also grant a wish of a two-night vacation to a child and his/her family at the resort.
The first Grand Weekend took place this weekend in Los Angeles from Oct. 20 and 21, with the second Grand Weekend is being held in Miami; in addition to Elmaleh, Cecchini and Schwartz, chefs that are part of the program are Martin Heierling, Katsuya Uechi, Jose ICardi and Makoto Okuwa.
