MSC Cruises' MSC Armonia will make its Miami debut this winter and will offer a seven-night Caribbean sailing that include Montego Bay, Jamaica; Georgetown, Cayman Islands; Cozumel, Mexico; and a weekend overnight in Havana.
The line is making enhancements to the Armonia's onboard product in anticipation of the Cuba calls.
A new specialty restaurant will be added to the culinary lineup: The 38-seat Surf & Turf restaurant, where guests can select dishes like slow-braised pork belly, lobster thermidor or an 18-ounce bone-in ribeye. A $35 per-person surcharge applies. The ship's White Lion Pub will introduce a complimentary menu featuring
Cuban sandwiches and a mojo chicken quesadilla.
One of the ship's bars will be transformed into a Havana-style Mojito Bar for the sailing.
The ship's evening theater entertainment will undergo a complete review.
Once the ship docks in Havana, guests will have the opportunity to participate in people-to-people shore excursions that explore the local highlights, from riding in a vintage American car along the Malecon and Quinta Avenida, to visiting a cigar factory to see how Cuban cigars are produced, to a night of dancing at the renowned Tropicana Club.
