Margaritaville Beach Resort Grand Cayman will reopen its doors on Nov. 1 following a multiyear renovation.

The refurb included all of the property's 285 guest rooms, the addition of more than 8,500 square feet of meetings and event space, a new fitness center and a reinvented culinary program.

The guestroom renovations include a design that is distinctive to Margaritaville. Case in point: Embedded parrots on the duvet covers, palm trees on the wooden headboards and driftwood branches to create bedside lamps.

Rates start at $155 per room per night through December.

The culinary enhancements are where the resort is really flexing its new muscles. There are three new restaurants; the signature eatery, Eating House 1503, will be helmed by chef, author and TV personality Roy Yamaguchi. The restaurant is a spinoff of Yamaguchi's Eating House 1849 in Hawaii and is the first Caribbean outpost for the chef. The menu includes steak, sushi, ramen and wild boar-blended cheeseburgers.

Frank + Lola's is another of the resort's new restaurants, offering pizzas, homemade ice cream and gelato and a selection of "spiked Italian sodas" just off the open-air lobby. The eatery Spread, meanwhile, is a deli-meets-wine-bar that will serve sandwiches, salads, homemade pastries and juices.
