The Banyan Tree Group's Angsana resort brand made its debut in Cuba this month, the second Banyan Tree property on the island.
The 252-room, adults-only Angsana Cayo Santa Maria is located on a private island off Cuba's northern coast, part of the Villa Clara Cays. The resort is accessible from the mainland by a 30-mile causeway and near the towns of Santa Clara, Remedios and Caibarien.
Banyan Tree said the property was "equipped with all necessary facilities for an ideal beach holiday getaway," such as a beachfront grill and jazz lounge, a spa, outdoor pool, gym and wedding venue.
Banyan Tree Group also operates the Dhawa Cayo Santa Maria under its Dhawa brand.
