The TWA Hotel at New York's Kennedy Airport will feature a Jean-Georges
Vongerichten restaurant.
Called the Paris Cafe, the restaurant will occupy the space
of the TWA terminal's original Paris Cafe and Lisbon Lounge. The hotel is
scheduled to open in spring 2019.
The Paris Cafe will serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks
and cocktails at a medium price point.
"Vongerichten's take on the restaurant will help
reignite the magic of the Jet Age throughout the TWA Hotel," said MCR
Development, the company converting the Eero Saarinen-designed TWA terminal
into a hotel.

The Michelin-starred Vongerichten operates 36 restaurants.
He will partner with Tastes on the Fly, a boutique airport restaurateur with
more than 20 locations, on the Paris Cafe.
"As an avid traveler," said Vongerichten, "I
am very excited to be a part of recreating a culinary destination in this
iconic landmark."
The TWA Hotel will feature 512 guestrooms insulated with
soundproof windows, 50,000 square feet of event space for up to 1,600 people, a
10,000-square-foot fitness center, a rooftop pool and observation deck, and a
museum devoted to TWA and the midcentury modern design movement.
