Caesars Entertainment is pouring $56 million into a full
renovation of the 507-room Coastal Tower at Harrah's Resort Atlantic City.
The first phase of upgrades is due to be finished early next
year, with the project expected to be fully complete by the summer.
The redesigned Coastal Tower rooms will feature a lavender
and blue color scheme with contrasting white and gray tones, new contemporary
furniture, a vanity dressing area and a remodeled bathroom with oversized
shower. Each room will span around 450 square feet.
All Coastal rooms will also receive a variety of
technological updates, including the addition of charging stations and 55-inch
LG LED televisions.
The overhaul will bring the Coastal rooms closer in line
with the property's Bayview Tower, which wrapped up a $30 million renovation of
its 450 rooms last year. Harrah's also recently unveiled its new $125 million
Waterfront Conference Center, which houses 125,000 square feet of meeting
space, and has revamped its Pool After Dark nightclub.
The changes are part of Caesars Entertainment's long-term
plan to inject $250 million into its Atlantic City casino resorts. The company's
other Atlantic City properties are the Bally's Atlantic City and Caesars Atlantic
City.
Harrah's Resort Atlantic City has a total of 2,586 rooms.
