Aqua Expeditions, operator of luxury cruises on the Peruvian
Amazon and Mekong rivers, has received a $28 million capital investment to increase its fleet and add new destinations over the next two
years.
Francesco Galli Zugaro said the company will use the investment
by private equity firm Bison Capital to add coastal cruising in "soft
adventure destinations," but he did not specify where.
The company said more details will be released later this
month.
Aqua operates small boats that offer safari-like excursions
focused on jungles, wildlife and local cultures.
