The 300-acre Margaritaville Resort Orlando in Kissimmee is expected to open in January and has begun taking reservations, with rates starting at $199 per night. The property comprises four separate components: the Margaritaville Hotel, Margaritaville Cottages, Sunset Walk (shopping, dining and entertainment) and the Island H2O Live Waterpark (slated to open in the spring).

Alyssa Bushy, head of marketing for the resort, noted, "[At the resort,] more than 35 dining, recreation and relaxation options, shopping, spas, entertainment, a dine-in movie theatre and an exhilarating water park are all just a short stroll or trolley ride away."

The Margaritaville Hotel will contain 184 guestrooms and a lobby featuring floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lagoon pools and a chandelier made from over 300 margarita glasses. All guestrooms feature flat-screen TVs, coffeemakers and minibars as well as workstations. The 2,500-square-foot Jimmy Buffett Suite includes a private kitchen and wraparound terrace. All guestrooms have balconies that overlook the Fins Up Beach Club, with its beach-entry pools. All hotel guests will also have access to complimentary theme park shuttles.

Other hotel amenities include four dining options like the Salty Rim Bar & Grill serving poolside, island-inspired food and beverage; the St. Somewhere Spa with eight treatment rooms; a kids' and teens' club with trained counselors; and exploration activities and events.
