Eat Like a Local Mexico, an insider foodie tour founded by Mexico City native Rocio Vazquez Landeta, recently announced its three itineraries for the winter season.

The Mexico City Foodie Immersion tour is a 4.5-hour experience that starts at a small coffee shop to introduce foodies to Mexico City's coffee culture. The itinerary then moves on to street food including basket tacos and rotisserie chicken. Next, take a ride on the subway to explore a traditional market with an array of carnitas, corn, tostadas, fruit and chorizo. Visit La Merced, the second-biggest market in the city for fish tacos, pineapple juice, and more. End the tour at a local hipster lounge for creative cocktails. The tour runs daily and costs $99.

The Mexican Wine and Pulque Journey is hosted by Sara Garza, a sociologist who grew up in Mexico's Roma neighborhood. Explore her favorite spots that she remembers from childhood, as well as the trendy places that have helped to shape the new identity of Roma. Starting at Eno, Enrique Olvera's deli, taste green pozole, pastor tacos, and more. Learn about Pulque, the pre-Hispanic drink made from the agave plant. End the tour at a winemaker's shop to taste different Mexican wines paired with Mexican cheese. This tour runs Tuesday through Saturday and costs $120 per person.

The final new tour, the Street Food at Night and Hidden Neighborhoods tour, introduces foodies to the more adventurous eats of Mexico City, like eyeball and brain tacos. Conservative eaters will still be able to enjoy brisket or pastor tacos. Mole is the highlight of this tour, and the group will have the opportunity to taste black and yellow moles, mezcal, tejate and other Mexican drinks. Finish the evening tour walking around the historic center and learning about the Aztec legends. This experience runs daily and costs $110 per person.
